Hello!
I’m Shavil, or as my friends know me, Shav
I'm a Sydney University student, graduating with a B. Comm & Advanced Studies., majoring in my two passions: design and international business. Currently on the lookout for more startup and agency adventures, where I can untangle complex user and business service journeys.

My superpower? Empathy. To the core, I am a creative. But as you learn very quickly, you cannot create something that doesn't have a product-market fit and expect it to be meaningful. So whether it's navigating both macro and micro economic terrains or turning data into visual solutions for all your user-centric puzzles. Whether it be bridging the gap between finance and product management or marketing and user-experience, I'm always looking for ways to be a double-edged sword to every project. And, my bigger-picture-thinking brain will never fail to go beyond the ordinary, championing sustainability, and diving into the wonders of science and tech.

To give some insight into how I perceive design and why I want to pursue this early in my career. Design is a language and it is everywhere. Our interaction with everyday objects (physical and digital), is designed with meaningful functionality and aesthetics. I see design as tweaking a product/service based on human psychology and behaviour, to inform it's use and elevate user experience.
Yet, I like to go further, design to me is about every detail and expression that is put in to be part of a larger system that works harmoniously to convey a message, tell a story, or serve a purpose. With this atomic-infused view of design, I aim to empower creations and innovations that propel society forward. I've observed how technology profoundly impacts society on a global scale, and within my interests lie robotics, environmental sustainability, and planetary travel—the bigger pictures of the 21st century.
This is why I deeply value design thinking, it’s like a cannon for my empath fodder.
With that said, my goal is to foster a community through impactful and immersive experiences. I've discovered that the most impactful technologies are those that forge emotional connections within communities. Technology will not be able to replicate complex human relationships like trustworthy friendships or inspirational leadership, but instead facilitate genuine human connection and workmanship by bringing people together through collaboration and interactions. This natural human bond not only enhances experiences but also lays the foundation for successful products, services and systems.
